Well, I can’t take credit for this, but I thought it was so beautiful it needed to be blogged. This is the dining room table at my mom’s house on Easter. How “springy” is this?!
We did have 9 adults for Easter, so we had to make do with 4 on one side and 3 on the other, as well as different place-mats at the ends, but I still think its perfect.
The “table runner” down the middle is actually a tablecloth made by my great grandmother. Affectionately known as ‘Big Mama,’ she made this tablecloth for my mother when she was well into her 90’s.
In the middle of the table are craft store eggs in a Depression glass bowl, alstroemerias in glasses (also Depression glass), with a couples subtle little curls of white and dark pink ribbons.
She makes it look so easy…
